Over the past 2 years, live music promoter and record label Upset the Rhythym, has consistently provided London residents access to the most exciting & unpredictable underground bands.
For usually £3 or a fiver, in some basement under a furniture shop (Barden’s Boudoir) or even as “far away” for us Hackney residents as Kilburn (The Luminaire), they put up gigs for Chris Corsano, Lightning Bolt, Ariel Pink, Afrirampo, Gang Gang Dance, Hair Police, Leopard Leg, Magik Markers and many others.
Now they are getting the attention they deserve, curating the music part of this years Frieze Art Fair, titled Frieze Music, which takes part at the Hippodrome on Friday 13/10 and Saturday 14/10. Fore more information, visit the Upset the Rhythym website.
