I've been trying to put together some code in director that reads BVH data directly. I suspended the project temporarily, but am free to work on it again. I saw your demo and was really excited to see that you appear to have solved all the problems I was struggling with.
The project I am doing uses motion capture to record American Sign Language Animations. I've been using a lot of workarounds to get the data into Director, but I ended up using ViewPoint animations b/c I did not finish the BVH parser.
Please, if there is any way I can see the code for the motion capture parser, let me know. I am working on a new grant from the National Science Foundation and would love to have a partner who can handle the motion capture data.

If anyone is interested in more of what the mocap industry is producing then check out the guys at www.phasespace.com. They have created a realtime system that doesn't need suits or to even be indoors. Their system gets 480 f/s with almost no occlusion or dropouts. Their costs are a bit high for personal use but easily within reach of even small schools and buinsesses. Interesting stuff with a ton of applications once you look into it.
