Red Bull Mediamix

October 5th, 2007 by Torsten

We just enriched the official Red Bull Site with a major new section - the Red Bull Mediamix.

The purpose of the Mediamix is to bring media content - in particular video content - to the foreground and make existing media content more accessible through an innovative channel interface.

One of the main goals has been the cross linking of all media with related content. Additionally all media items are downloadable, linkable and can be embedded on 3rd party sites with the branded Red Bull player you can see below.

But enough talking, have a look, play with it and dive ever deeper into the Red Bull universe.

We’d like to say thanks to everyone at Red Bull for giving us the chance to develop exciting and innovative work for them, and to Signal 7 for great back-end support.

Cheers!

    Hey,

real nice and innovative way of presenting varied media content. Only thing: very difficult to get back to where you came from, when clicking on related content.

    Thanks Steffi!

Yes, the large number of media items may be confusing. Perhaps a different state for all visited items could help, although you can always use the browsers back button. We will find a solution.

Spanking hot boy. It really turned out innovative and nice. I love the way it starts displaying frames from the movie when loading, like and old video displayer.
